Prelude PierisGrown for its gorgeous white flowers which hang in 4 6" clusters like strands of pearls. Flowers appear in mid April and last for 2 3 months, often into June! 'Prelude' flowers almost a month later than Japanese Pieris and grows to only 24 30" tall and wide Taiwanese Pieris is said to stand up a bit better to our summer heat and humidity than Japanese Pieris, although we've found both species thrive in our area.
