Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2023 Domaine Yves GirardinChateau de la Charriere 100% Pinot Noir grown on clay soil from vines with an average age of 35 years old, this is an approachable soft easy drinking wine which belies its humble appellation as a simple Bourgogne rouge. It has a good amount of mouthfilling fruit with red berries to the fore and well balanced soft tannins on the palate. Aged in oak barrels, of which 10% are new, it spends between 10 to 12 months before being bottled in the waning phase
