Longines Ultra-Chron Ref. 7851-15 (circa 1970s)WHY WE CURATED IT: Absolutely love this. Longines was once a top brand, competing with (and some say beating) the likes of Omega. In the 60s, chronometer grade watches were a hard fought battle, and Longines was one of the leaders with the Ultra Chron series. Debuted in 1967 on its 100th birthday, and touted as the worlds most accurate watch. Of all the forms Ultra Chrons took, this ones my fav. Interesting from every angle, but never looking bizarre.
