There is a central locket compartment that contains finely woven hair. A very sentimental brooch as the Victorians used seed pearls to signify tears. Engraved "W Harris Thomas. OB 30 July 1826, AE 29 Years". English in origin. Circa 1820 Original brooch fixture attached with later jump ring attached. Measures 2" in length.
