R. 'Dexter's Appleblossom'This lovely old hybrid came from the Charles Dexter estate in Massachusetts in the early 1900's. Little is known about these handsome and often fragrant hybrids, but that doesn't make them less valuable. Our garden specimen of 'Dexter's Appleblossom is very full and lush, making it a great screening plant. The pink flowers have some fragrance and look very nice against the lush foliage. R. fortunei is most likely one of the parents. Hardy to zone 7.
