Mounted to rigid backing, in fine condition. Sir Thomas Beecham founded both the London Philharmonic Orchestra (1932) and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (1949). He was never happy with being a salaried employee of any orchestra and preferred to gather his own ensembles instead.
