EncoreEncore Maple Barrel Aged Imperial Stout comes roughly one year after the release of Fte, our fourth anniversary barrel aged sweet stout (which was aged in bourbon barrels previously filled with maple syrup). For about 16 months we've had this big, smooth imperial stout ageing in rye whiskey barrels that were previously housed maple syrup. We're delighted with how this beer turned out. It has a creamy mouthfeel, with a hint of sweetness cut by a touch
